The Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (VTLA) elected its new 2009 officers at its annual meeting on March 14 in Williamsburg, Virginia. Among those elected was Edward L. Allen of Allen & Allen. Edward L. Allen, of the Fredericksburg office, will serve as Vice President.
The other elected officers are:

- Lisa P. O’Donnell – Vice President
- Barbara S. Williams – Vice President
- Thomas J. Curcio – Vice President
- John E. Litchtenstein – Treasurer
- Stephanie E. Grana – Parlimentarian
