An accomplished litigator and talented attorney, Edward has tried and won cases in both state and federal courts. He joined Allen & Allen in 1987 after graduating from Washington and Lee University School of Law, and then helped to spearhead the firm’s expansion to Northern Virginia. He has been the managing partner of the Fredericksburg office since its opening in 1994.

“Edward has outstanding leadership experience from his term as President of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association and his service on the Board of Governors of the Southern Trial Lawyers Association. We’re excited to have the benefit of that experience at the helm of the Allen Law Firm,” said Jason W. Konvicka, trial attorney and partner.

Edward Allen is one of six attorneys at Allen & Allen to be named in Best Lawyers in America, a preeminent guide to legal excellence in the United States. His appointment to the role of President marks the first time an Allen family member has held the position since Elizabeth Allen completed her service in 2007.

Accompanying Edward Allen in leadership positions at Allen & Allen are Executive Committee members Jason W. Konvicka and trial attorney and partner R. Clayton Allen. Together, the three aim to further propel the firm’s growth and community outreach.
