Mark from Chesterfield

I was a paramedic, and I was lifting a patient up a flight of stairs when I herniated eight discs.

My one regret is that I didn’t hire Jennifer on the spot. I called her the day of the accident, but decided to try and do the workers’ compensation on my own. I shouldn’t have waited. I tried for a year and got nowhere. The workers’ compensation payments were always late, and my previous employer hired an attorney. Once Jennifer and Candice got involved in the case, all that garbage stopped.

I had four spinal ablations, nine rounds of shots in my back, a neck fusion, and 32 weeks of therapy. More therapy was needed but my employer refused to pay. I was in so much pain, that I paid for it out of my own pocket. But now that Jennifer has helped me, I can get the back surgeries I needed.

Jennifer and her team at Allen & Allen went above and beyond. When I had initially reached out to other attorneys, some were rude, and another lawyer said they wished I were part of a union. But Jennifer and her team – they are rock stars. I cannot say enough good things about them.

I have a strong personality, and there were about three times I was so frustrated, that I wanted to take matters into my own hands. Jennifer strongly advised me not to. And she was right. She had to tell me what I didn’t want to hear because she was doing her job.

Do not hesitate to hire a lawyer after you’ve been hurt on the job – you cannot compete with these insurance companies. With Jennifer and Candice, I never had to worry about a thing. They took good care of me.
