The law firm of Allen & Allen is pleased to announce that James “Jamie” Kessel has been recognized for the seventh year by Virginia Business Magazine as one of the 2018 Legal Elite for Civil Litigation. Previously, Jamie was included in the list from 2010-2016.
This is not the first award for Jamie, who joined Allen & Allen’s Richmond and Short Pump offices in 2012. He has been honored by Virginia Super Lawyers as “Top 50 Attorneys in Virginia” since 2015 and has been selected as a Super Lawyer in the category of “Personal Injury Plaintiff” since 2013. Previously, he was selected as a Rising Star by Virginia Super Lawyers in 2010, 2011, and 2012.
The Legal Elite program is a peer-driven system of recognition. Virginia Business annually polls more than 14,000 attorneys in the commonwealth, asking them to select from their peers the best lawyers in each practice category. For the 2018 edition of the list, more than 3,400 lawyers cast their ballots and 1,000 lawyers received the award.
