The 58-year-old grandmother was rear-ended while driving her grandchildren to a roller skating rink in Culpeper. The wreck resulted in arm pain and reduced range of motion for the plaintiff which resulted in the need for surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff.
The jury’s verdict awarded $100,000 to the plaintiff. The pretrial offer from the Defense was $13,000.
