Those chosen as Unsung Legal Heroes represent Virginia’s most talented and dedicated legal support professionals. They have consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty, often behind the scenes. Unsung Legal Heroes are chosen by their peers, who have first-hand experience of the important work they do.
Kim Pillsbury is a litigation paralegal based in Allen & Allen’s Fredericksburg office, and works on pre-litigation cases as well. She’s been a legal professional since 1988. She says, “I am shocked to receive this completely unexpected recognition, but I appreciate it very much and I feel honored to be included this year.”
James Roe is Allen & Allen’s Salesforce Administrator, who works to ensure that the firm’s systems are smooth-going. He finds ways to make the case management system automate, so that attorneys have more time to focus on the client care Allen & Allen is known for. “I am beyond honored that someone at the firm would recommend me for this accolade. I will work hard to prove I’m deserving of the nomination,” he said.
