Founded more than 30 years ago, Toy Lift is a volunteer-run non-profit that spreads Christmas cheer to children that need it the most. On the first Friday of every December, volunteers collect and wrap toys for children in the greater Charlottesville area.
Allen & Allen attorneys Kari La Fratta and Richard Armstrong were on hand at the event to provide a $1,000 donation, helping to boost the effort during this season of giving. Former Hometown Hero Tom Powell accepted the donation.
This donation is part of our initiative Allen & Allen Cares: Helping our Heroes. We’ve honored hundreds of Hometown Heroes over the years, and many are tied to admirable charities. Our firm chooses a top-of-mind issue, and donates $1,000 to charities with a similar focus, honoring our Hometown Heroes in the process.
