Jason Konvicka was officially named the 40th President of the prestigious Melvin M. Belli Society last night, on Thursday July 13. Firm President Edward Allen was in attendance, along with shareholders Bridget Long, Jamie Kessel, and Derrick Walker. The team was thrilled to celebrate Jason’s accomplishment at the event’s reception.
The Melvin M. Belli Society was established over 40 years ago. The society honors exceptional legal professionals who have demonstrated outstanding expertise and accomplishments in their field. Melvin M. Belli was a renowned trial lawyer known for his exceptional courtroom skills and innovative strategies. His high-profile cases, including notable victories in personal injury and product liability lawsuits, earned him national recognition. Belli’s commitment to justice, coupled with his charismatic personality, solidified his reputation as one of the most influential attorneys of his time.
Jason Konvicka is no stranger to leadership positions in the legal world. He served as president of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association from 2019-2020. He also serves on the board of directors for the International Academy of Trial Lawyers. In addition, he holds the position of vice-chair for the Distracted Driving Group for the American Association for Justice. It was a beautiful evening of celebration, and now the real work begins.
