Allen & Allen shareholder David Irvine has been elected to the 2026–2027 Executive Council of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (VTLA), where he will serve as Parliamentarian.
Based in the firm’s Charlottesville office, David has been with Allen & Allen since 2015. During his tenure at the firm, he has taken on several leadership roles within VTLA, including serving on the Board of Governors and as Past President of the Young Trial Lawyers. He has also been recognized among Virginia’s Super Lawyers since 2023.
David shares, “I am honored to join the Executive Committee of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association as Parliamentarian. VTLA has a long history of advocating for the interests of the injured within the civil justice system and promoting excellence in trial practice among Virginia attorneys. I am looking forward to contributing to the important work of this great Association.”
David was elected Parliamentarian during the 2026 VTLA Convention in March 2026, where Allen & Allen attorneys were honored to help shape the conversation throughout the event. We are proud to continue contributing to the direction and strength of VTLA year after year.
