Caring for Our Neighbors - Supporting the Local Communities We Serve
For over a century, injured Virginians have entrusted Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen with their personal injury claims enabling our firm to prosper and become Virginia's largest personal injury law firm. As our law practice has grown, so has our involvement with the communities we serve. Every day we do what we can to support our community and give back.
We encourage our employees to give back to the community. In addition to Firm-sponsored volunteer activities at local food banks and charity organizations, our attorneys and staff can also take a day of paid time off each year to do volunteer service of their own choosing.
Supporting Those In Need in Our Community
Our attorneys actively serve in leadership positions of various charities such as the Brain Injury Association of Virginia and CHIP of Virginia. Over the past 5 years our employees have contributed more than 138,000 pounds of food to local food banks through participation in the annual Legal Food Frenzy in partnership with the Attorney General's office. Due to the nature of our business, it is natural for us to support medical causes. After all, every one of our clients has suffered an injury of one kind or another. The Allen Law Firm sponsors many organizations designed to help the injured and disabled, especially those suffering from devastating, long-term injuries.
Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen believes that education is the backbone of any thriving community, and we take great pride in our George E. Allen Scholarship Program, which awards a $1,500 college scholarship to 15 deserving Virginia high school seniors every spring. Teachers are the bedrock of every school system. In partnership with the Virginia Department of Education, Allen, Allen, Allen and Allen donates a $2500 gift every year to the Virginia Teacher of the Year.
At Allen & Allen, our attorneys have partnered with End DD (End Distracted Driving, www.enddd.org) to offer presentations to area high schools, businesses and community organizations with the goal of reducing and preventing distracted driving. As a personal injury law firm, we see first-hand the devastating impact of distracted driving on innocent victims and their families. Since 2012, more than 225,000 teens and adults across the country have seen the scientifically guided, evidence-based End DD presentation. It was developed by EndDD with a core mission of preserving life and promoting safety on a large scale through advocacy, education, and action. Supporting Civic Organizations and Events
Allen and Allen is dedicated to supporting events and programs that better the community. Cultural festivals, community sports teams, and civic outreach programs all help build stronger neighborhoods make Richmond a better place to live.
Supporting Our Troops
Allen & Allen began the Adopt-The-Troops program in 2007. We send soldiers in both Iraq and Afghanistan messages of support and whatever small comforts and reminders of home we can. This is our small attempt to give something back to the men and women bravely serving our country.
