Genoveva Border has joined the Allen Law Firm as our new Director of Spanish Services and Claims Consultant and will be working out of our Richmond office. With fourteen years of experience supporting Virginia’s Latino community, she brings both a deep expertise and strong commitment to client advocacy to the Allen & Allen team.
She began her career working at Ecuador’s Court of Appeals before pursuing her Master’s degree in Human Rights Law at Nottingham University in the U.K. followed by her second law degree from The College of Law in Birmingham, U.K. Following her studies, she worked as an attorney in the U.K., with a focus on corporate tax law. She gained invaluable experience in the corporate world, but it was personal injury law where she found the human connection and impact that she was craving. Genoveva and her family relocated from the U.K. to Virginia in 2011, where she made the purposeful transition into personal injury law in order to foster deeper, more meaningful connections with her clients. Genoveva shares, “In personal injury law, I can support my clients experiencing traumatic situations by taking care of the legal aspects of their cases so that they can focus on healing.”
Known for her client-first approach, Genoveva emphasizes clear communication and providing reassurance for those navigating the aftermath of a personal injury. In her role at Allen & Allen, she will lead the growth of the firm’s Spanish-language services, while also serving as a claims consultant. Her experience strengthens the firm’s ability to serve a more diverse community, and her work will help ensure that Spanish-speaking clients receive clear guidance, strong advocacy, and the exceptional service that Allen & Allen is known for.
