Dianne from Richmond, VA

I live in Richmond and work in Williamsburg. I’ve known for years about Allen & Allen and their reputation as a personal injury firm with integrity. Before my accident I didn’t understand how being in an accident can change your life. After my accident I was in pain and I wasn’t sleeping. I never thought this would happen to me – it was devastating. My injuries affected my being able to drive, dress, work, and take care of my injured son. It was difficult to not be able to spend time with my son. I ran through my annual leave at work. Every time I turned around I had a new medical bill. I was tired, exhausted and in pain. I knew I had to do something and that Allen & Allen only conducted their business with honesty.

When I first met with Scott Fitzgerald, he asked me what I was looking for. He was very sincere. I was in therapy, I had had surgery and I was out of work. Dana, one of his legal assistants, initially worked with me and did all the paperwork. I had a great experience with her and his other legal assistant Mary Catherine while I was treating.

As things progressed, Mary Catherine was very positive and she encouraged me to stay positive. If it hadn’t been for Scott staying on top of the insurance company, they would have ignored us until we went away. Scott wouldn’t give up. He told me he’d call every day if he had to. His expertise and research ability are the reason why I received what I did. I got much more than I expected from the case. Scott and Mary Catherine really guided me and they fought for me, for which I’m so grateful.
