Once a hero, always a hero: Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen is honoring GoochlandCares Free Clinic and Family Services with a $1,000 donation to support their organization.
The donation is part of Allen & Allen Cares: Helping Our Heroes, a new community giving program that honors organizations that have been highlighted as part of the Allen & Allen Hometown Heroes program in the past. The program chooses a top-of-mind issue that communities are facing, which aligns with the firm’s mission of protecting the injured, and awards $1,000 donations to organizations working to address those issues.
Terry Ebright and Sally Graham are former Allen & Allen Hometown Heroes and employees of GoochlandCares. They had introduced the firm to the clinic and its work in recent years. Graham is the founder and executive director while Ebright serves as food pantry manager for the clinic. They have been working throughout the pandemic to support Goochland residents experiencing food insecurity.
“Over the years, we have been privileged to get to know hundreds of incredible people through our Hometown Heroes program,” said Edward Allen, President of Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen. “Many of these heroes are founders, employees, or stewards of extraordinary non-profits. We’re excited to honor GoochlandCares with this donation. At Allen & Allen, we are passionate about protecting the injured and those in need. It’s clear that the GoochlandCares team shares that passion.”
The GoochlandCares food pantry is open five days a week. The nonprofit is offering curbside pickup and pre-packed bags to help keep staff and clients safe during the pandemic.
