Anne from Virginia

After my car accident, everything was a blur. The other driver ran a stop sign, and I was knocked unconscious. I spent two days in the ER and then two weeks in the hospital. The entire stay was overwhelming—and the recovery that followed was even harder.

I still don’t remember the details of the crash, but I do have PTSD from the crash. I remember becoming emotional at physical therapy from practicing how to get in and out of a car. My in-laws built a ramp so I could get in and out of the house. My life changed in a moment. I had to relearn skills to get back to where I was before the accident. This was my new normal.

I never thought I’d be in a position where I needed a lawyer, but the bills were piling up and I wasn’t sure how to navigate this situation. That’s when my husband called Allen & Allen to start my case.

Working with Jamie Kessel and his legal assistant Kristy gave us hope. Kristy spent hours on the phone with Medicare, and did mountains of work. They let me focus on healing. Jamie made it clear that this was my case. Every decision was mine, and he never pressured me. He fought to get the information we needed and to make sure I was treated fairly. I always felt like I had someone in my corner. Without all of the help from Jamie and Kristy, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

They were professional, but they ended up feeling like family. They helped me through this, making it the best possible experience after a horrible accident. In the end, they felt like family. I hugged them both like I hug my own family.
