The nomination period for the 2013 Hometown Heroes program closed on May 3, 2013. Allen & Allen will announce this year's 50 Allen & Allen Hometown Heroes on June 12, 2013 here at allenandallen.com/hometown-heroes, on facebook at www.facebook.com/allen.and.allen and in the media.
Finalists will be honored at a series of award events taking place in Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Charlottesville in July and August. Check back to see the event announcements.
The award, which was formed in 2010 to honor Allen & Allen’s centennial anniversary, is designed to celebrate local heroes who are making a lasting impact in the community. “We are thankful for the people who make up the communities we serve and for the everyday heroes who make Virginia a great place to live. It’s time to celebrate these citizens by spending just a few minutes to let us know about the people who have made a difference in the lives of those around them,” said Courtney Allen Van Winkle, Partner.
