Allen & Allen is proud to share that our attorneys and staff contributed 46,291.25 pounds of food during the 9th Annual Legal Food Frenzy. The firm ranked #2 for Most Pounds Raised Per Capita (342.9 lbs. per person) and #3 for Total Poundage in the Large Firm category this year.
The Legal Food Frenzy is an annual competition among Virginia law firms, law schools, and other legal professional organizations, that helps raise food and money for local food banks. It is run jointly by the office of the Attorney General and the Virginia Food Bank Federation.
The goal of the Legal Food Frenzy campaign is to help meet the rising needs of Virginia communities that are considered “food insecure.” Demand for food and grocery products continues to be an urgent need in Virginia, with food banks in Virginia experiencing record demands for help.
During the past nine years, the Legal Food Frenzy has raised more than 10 million pounds of food to date and has become one of the largest food drives in Virginia. This event helps the Central Food Bank maintain its distribution and continue to bring food to Virginians in need. Visit the Legal Food Frenzy website to learn more about the program.
