Allen & Allen attorney and shareholder Bridget Long has been elected president of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (VTLA).
The VTLA is a voluntary bar association dedicated to enhancing the knowledge, skills, and professionalism of trial lawyers. The organization is committed to improving the law and the fairness of Virginia’s justice system.
Bridget is bringing considerable experience to her role as president. She also served as President of Virginia’s ABOTA Chapter in 2021. The American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) grants membership to civil trial attorneys evidencing high personal character, a reputation for civility and proficiency in trial advocacy.
The VTLA is dedicated to making a positive difference, and Bridget said it best in her speech while accepting this honor. “Whether you are talking about issues of diversity and inclusion, improving access to courts for Virginians and carrying legislation that helps its workers, drivers, and consumers, or helping our members navigate the post-2020 technological landscape, better than it used to be is not good enough for VTLA.”
Please join us in congratulating Bridget on her presidency!
