Jason W. Konvicka named to 2019 ‘Leaders In The Law’

Richmond attorney and firm partner Jason W. Konvicka has been named to the 2019 class of Virginia Lawyers Weekly’s “Leaders in the Law.” The award honors attorneys across the Commonwealth who are changing the law, serving the community, and improving Virginia’s justice system.

Says Konvicka: “I am honored to be acknowledged as a ‘Leader in Law.’ To be included amongst this elite group of leaders fighting injustice is particularly exciting this year as I serve as the President of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association.”

This is the latest in a long list of accolades for Konvicka, who has practiced law for more than 25 years. Konvicka was recently named the 2019-2020 Virginia Trial Lawyers Association President after fulfilling numerous roles throughout his 25-year tenure with the organization.

He has been recognized in the practice areas of Personal Injury Litigation – Plaintiffs and Medical Malpractice Law – Plaintiffs in Best Lawyers since 2009. He was named “Lawyer of the Year” for Richmond Personal Injury Litigation by the publication in 2018.

Konvicka has also been listed in the top 5% of Virginia Attorneys by Super Lawyers since 2006, and in the Top 100 since 2014.

Dedicated to always improving his practice, Konvicka was recently elected Parliamentarian of The Belli Society, which promotes the international exchange of ideas among lawyers. Konvicka is also a member of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers, an invitation-only group representing both sides of the Bar.

For inclusion in “Leaders in the Law,” Konvicka was celebrated along with other honorees at a reception on Oct. 22, 2019 at the John Marshall Hotel in Richmond.
