Honors for Grace Myers

Congratulations to Grace Myers of Allen & Allen’s Richmond office for her recognition by Virginia Lawyers Weekly as one of the “Unsung Heroes” of 2017.

Each year, Virginia Lawyers Weekly honors the law firm employees who have consistently gone above and beyond the call of duty, often behind the scenes, as Unsung Heroes. This award is reserved for the state’s most talented and dedicated legal support professionals.

In her nomination, Grace was praised for her great care and attention to detail, her tact, and her kindness. Her careful review of the firm’s quality of service garnered special attention. “Grace is the true definition of an unsung hero as her efforts are often behind the scenes and go unnoticed in the midst of the busy, bustling workday. But for decades, her influence has been palpable. Her dedication and support for others unwavering.  Yet you will never hear her seeking the limelight or pointing out what she has done for others or for the firm.” one nomination read. Grace is known for her humble and steadfast commitment to the Allen Law Firm and to the many clients she has served.

A member of the Allen team for nearly 40 years, Grace began her role with the firm as a Legal Assistant. Her duties evolved into her current position as Practice Adherence & Performance Auditor, but she says that her time as a paralegal gave her invaluable experience in watching a case develop from accident to trial. “The satisfaction of helping people who have been hurt is extremely gratifying.”

Grace is profiled in a special section of the January 22, 2018 edition of Virginia Lawyers Weekly.
