Last Friday, Allen & Allen held their first Hometown Heroes celebration at the Ting Pavillion in Charlottesville. It was a fantastic way to kick off the weekend!
In attendance were quite a few Allen & Allen Hometown Heroes – even those who aren’t based in the Charlottesville area came to celebrate. The Celtic/Americana rock band Scythian played, as waves of people in the crowd danced to Celtic music and sang along to rock and roll classics. During a break in the performance, attorney Richard Armstrong took the stage and introduced the crowd to Alex-Zan, Joanne Sherman, Stephan Hicks, Patrice Shelton, John & Leslie Leahy, Latara Ragland, and Natalie Jenkins. The crowd erupted in applause.
These heroes were given a private celebration on the Party Porch, a special VIP section of the Ting Pavillion. They enjoyed drinks, locally-made kettle corn, customized cookies, and other snacks as they enjoyed the music. Allen & Allen was thrilled to finally meet these outstanding Virginians face-to-face, and learn more about the important work they do.
The firm looks forward to the next celebration, at the Fredericksburg Nationals Stadium in Fredericksburg!
