THE VIRGINIA STATE BAR RULES OF PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT REQUIRE ALL ATTORNEYS TO MAKE THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT AND DISCLAIMER TO THEIR CASE RESULTS.

SETTLEMENTS AND VERDICTS IN ALL CASES DEPEND ON VARIOUS FACTORS AND CIRCUMSTANCES WHICH ARE UNIQUE TO EACH CASE. THEREFORE, PAST RESULTS IN CASES ARE NOT A GUARANTEE OR PREDICTION OF SIMILAR RESULTS IN FUTURE CASES WHICH THE ALLEN LAW FIRM AND ITS LAWYERS MAY UNDERTAKE.

Location: Greensville County Circuit Court
Injuries: Catastrophic Injuries
Settlement: $1,300,000

The 20-year-old defendant was driving his new Ford F-150 truck while drunk at 3:45am. Traveling at 70 miles per hour in a 45 mile per hour zone, the defendant slammed into the side of the plaintiff’s van when she pulled away from a stop sign. The impact was so powerful that the van flipped over several times and threw the plaintiff out of her vehicle. As a result of the impact, the plaintiff’s foot was trapped beneath the seat in front of her, causing a degloving injury when she was thrown from her vehicle.
