Este \u00f3rgano vital es necesario para el metabolismo y la descomposici\u00f3n de los alimentos en el sistema digestivo.<\/p>\n<h3>\u00bfCu\u00e1les son los s\u00edntomas de la hepatitis?<\/h3>\n<p>No todos los casos de hepatitis resultar\u00e1n en insuficiencia hep\u00e1tica, asumiendo que se adquiere el tratamiento adecuado. Existe una vacuna para prevenir la infecci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li>La hepatitis B se transmite a trav\u00e9s de la sangre, la orina, el semen o de una madre a su beb\u00e9 despu\u00e9s del parto. La hepatitis B puede vivir fuera del cuerpo durante al menos siete d\u00edas y a\u00fan podr\u00e1 causar una infecci\u00f3n durante ese tiempo. Se necesita un an\u00e1lisis de sangre para el diagn\u00f3stico y hay vacunas disponibles para proteger a las personas con alto riesgo de infecci\u00f3n.<\/li>\n<li>La hepatitis C se transmite m\u00e1s com\u00fanmente por exposici\u00f3n a sangre o agujas contaminadas.
