Talc was discovered in her ovarian tissues, and her cancer is in remission. <a title=\"\" href=\"#ftn1\">[1]<\/a> Previously, Johnson &amp; Johnson faced a $72 million award after a woman lost her life.<a title=\"\" href=\"#ftn2\">[2]<\/a> Sixty-two year old Jacqueline Fox passed away last Fall after losing her two-year battle with ovarian cancer.<a title=\"\" href=\"#ftn3\">[3]<\/a> Reportedly, Fox used Johnson &amp; Johnson Baby Powder and other hygiene products containing talcum powder for more than 35 years.<a title=\"\" href=\"#ftn4\">[4]<\/a> Her family claims the talcum powder directly caused Fox\u2019s ovarian cancer that ultimately killed her.<a title=\"\" href=\"#ftn5\">[5]<\/a> Her pathologist discovered that her ovaries were inflamed from talc, and then her cancer developed.<a title=\"\" href=\"#ftn6\">[6]<\/a><\/p>\n<p>An additional 1,200 women are also suing Johnson &amp; Johnson for the company\u2019s failure to warn consumers about the dangers of talc.<a title=\"\" href=\"#ftn7\">[7]<\/a><\/p>\n<h2>Baby Powder and Products Containing Talc<\/h2>\n<p>Talc, also known as talcum powder, is a naturally occurring mineral composed of magnesium, silicon, oxygen, and hydrogen.
