At Allen & Allen, we’ve seen first-hand how trauma can have a lasting impact on a family. Because of that, we’re proud to support VCU Health’s annual Shining Knight Gala, a fundraising event celebrating lives saved and honoring the individuals whose painstaking work made it happen.
The 2022 Shining Knight Gala will be held virtually on Saturday, May 21st at 7:00 PM. During the gala, lead staff of VCU Health, Virginia’s longest-standing Level 1 Trauma Center, will present an unique and in-depth look at the journey of a trauma patient from injury to recovery. The event gives the public a glimpse of what these lifesaving teams do and the passion that drives them.
This special event provides an opportunity to learn about the Trauma Center and for survivors and supporters to come together to recognize the Shining Knights who made their recovery possible. Funds raised through charitable contributions and ticket sales for the gala enable several of VCU’s injury and violence prevention programs, including Bridging the Gap, Emerging Leaders, and Project Empower that assist youth and families.
