Once a hero, always a hero: Allen & Allen is honoring former Hometown Hero Annie Dodd with a $1,000 donation to support All Blessings Flow in Charlottesville.
Dodd is the founder and executive director of the nonprofit, which collects, cleans, refurbishes and redistributes medical equipment free of charge to those in need in Charlottesville, Albemarle, and surrounding counties.
This donation is part of our new initiative Allen & Allen Cares: Helping our Heroes. We’ve honored hundreds of Hometown Heroes over the years, and many are tied to admirable charities. Our firm chooses a top-of-mind issue, and donates $1000 to charities with a similar focus, honoring our Hometown Heroes in the process.
“Annie and the All Blessings Flow team are making a remarkable contribution to their community. All Blessings Flow shares the same passion that we do about protecting the injured, and it’s an honor to help them carry out their mission,” said Edward Allen, President of Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen.
Since its founding in 2015, All Blessings Flow has assisted more than 9,000 individuals with medical equipment. It distributes more than 700 medical items each month and operates on Mondays and Thursdays from 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
