The personal injury law firm of Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen announced today that it is seeking nominations for its annual Hometown Heroes award. The award, which was formed in 2010 to honor the firm’s centennial anniversary, is designed to applaud local hometown heroes that give back to their community on a daily basis.

Nominations for the Allen & Allen Hometown Heroes campaign will be accepted from April 16, 2012 to May 25, 2012. The public is asked to visit aaaalaw.wpengine.com/hometown-heroes, to complete a short nomination form.  “We are thankful for the people who make up the communities we serve and for the everyday heroes who make Virginia a great place to live. It’s time to celebrate these citizens by spending just a few minutes to let us know about the people who have made a difference in the lives of those around them,” said Courtney Allen Van Winkle, Partner.

Allen & Allen will announce 50 Hometown Heroes on June 27, 2012 at aaaalaw.wpengine.com/hometown-heroes, on Facebook at www.facebook.com/allen.and.allen and in the media. Finalists will be honored at a series of award events taking place in Richmond, Fredericksburg, and Charlottesville.

“We’ve witnessed firsthand the everyday heroism found in our community and want to say thank you. Allen and Allen welcomes the community to join us in celebrating the local heroes in their community,” said R. Clayton Allen, Partner.
