Wilbur C. Allen

Although retired from Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen, Wilbur leaves an outstanding legacy as an attorney in the personal injury field and as President of the firm for many years. His legal career spanned five decades, during which he built his reputation as a fierce advocate for his clients and a firm supporter of the American judicial system. Given his distinguished service, Wilbur was listed in the Best Lawyers in America and was elected a fellow of The American College of Trial Lawyers.

During his remarkable career, Wilbur pursued his special interest in legal ethics. In his role as Chairman of a Virginia State Bar committee, he directed the formulation of one of the Bar's early Code of Ethics. Wilbur's distinguished career demonstrates that collegiality and courtesy are compatible with aggressive and effective advocacy. These principles continue to define the practice of law at Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen.
