Tamara L. Jezic

Tamara joined Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen in 2007 and works in the firm’s Fredericksburg office. A Harvard alumnus, she practiced law for eight years following graduation as a public interest human rights attorney. Working as an attorney in Ecuador, Tamara employed her legal skills and fluency in Spanish to focus on the rights of indigenous peoples of the Ecuadorian Amazon. She later worked as an attorney with the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia, where she concentrated on representing people with physical and mental disabilities. Tamara also worked at Women Empowered Against Violence, Inc. (WEAVE) representing victims of domestic violence who lived in Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, D.C. A proud mother of four, her areas of special interest included immigration and family law.

Today Tamara focuses her efforts as a trial attorney at Allen and Allen concentrating on personal injury law. She is an outstanding advocate who brings an impressive arsenal of experience to champion her clients’ legal rights. She is licensed to practice in Virginia, Maryland, and the District of Columbia, having passed the bar in these states. Tamara lived and worked in Spanish-speaking countries for more than three years, and enjoys speaking Spanish with Allen and Allen’s Hispanic clients.

Tamara lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia, with her husband, Anand Rao, and their four children. Tamara enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, running, and skiing.
