Personal Statement
Individuals working in the EMS field experience success through saving lives, but, more importantly, through the unselfish act of giving oneself completely in order to help another in need. Being prepared for emergency situations takes more than knowledge and skills; it takes true commitment, sacrifice and distinct prioritization. That prioritization is what defines this scholarship: "Service Above Self". Please write a brief statement describing how you embody the ideals of "service above self".
