George E. Allen Academic Scholarship

Through its high school scholarship program, Allen & Allen celebrates the life of its founder George E. Allen. Born in Lunenburg County, George Allen overcame many challenges in his early life. After he put himself through college and law school, he founded Allen & Allen, one of the premier personal injury law firms in Virginia and in the country. In his honor, the firm awards 15 scholarships each year, in the amount of $1,500 each, to Central Virginia high school seniors who have overcome adversity and who show significant academic promise.


George E. Allen, Jr. EMS Scholarship

As a distinguished trial attorney who represented Virginians across a wide and diverse economic and ethnic spectrum for more than 50 years in legal matters both large and small, George E. Allen, Jr. was a founder of the well regarded civil litigation firm of Allen, Allen, Allen & Allen. For 27 years he also served as one of Richmond's elected delegates to the Virginia General Assembly where he demonstrated the importance of public service in his community.
