Attorneys P. Christopher Guedri and Robert C. T. Reed represented a carpenter who was severely injured when the wheel on his dump truck exploded, leaving him with multiple fractures, lacerations and damage to the ligaments and tendons in his fingers.

The day prior to the accident the plantiff had taken the truck to the service station to get new tires. The next day he removed the tires and wheels to fix a leaking seal axle. While cleaning one of the removed wheels, the two-piece rim exploded.

The plantiff was the owner of a custom home construction business and was unable to continue his trade once being injured by the tire explosion. Despite medical treatment, the platiff was left with a 36% body impairment.

After a two-day trial, a jury returned a $1,000,000 verdict for the plantiff, plus special damages.
