Nathan has broad litigation experience in fields as diverse as professional malpractice, personal injury, defamation, medical malpractice and mental health law. His keen legal skills, both in and out of the courtroom, benefit his clients in every negotiation, mediation, trial and appeal he undertakes on their behalf in the pursuit of justice and fair compensation. As an attorney in Allen & Allen's Fredericksburg and Garrisonville offices, Nathan's goal is to protect his clients' best interests and to ensure that their adversaries, be they an insurance company or a big corporation, do not gain an unfair advantage.

Nathan is committed to serving his profession through participation in many bar organizations. He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Young Lawyers Conference of the Virginia State Bar and is Chair of the Young Lawyers Committee of the Virginia State Bar's Litigation Section. Nathan is active in the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association as Chair of the Young Lawyers Section, Co-Chair of the Amicus Curiae Committee and member of the Board of Governors. Passionate about protecting the rights of those who are unable to care for themselves, Nathan is an adjunct professor and lecturer at the University of Virginia School of Law in the Mental Health Law Clinic. In conjunction with the Legal Aid Center of Charlottesville, he lectures on topics including involuntary civil commitment, the liability of mental health care providers to their patients and to third parties, the right to refuse treatment and to be treated in the least restrictive environment and the relationship, if any, between mental health and violence.
