As the Virginia personal injury law firm of Allen and Allen celebrates its 100 year anniversary, we are thankful for the communities we serve and for the everyday heroes who make this a great place to live. This year we are honoring 100 Home Town Heroes. Do you know a hero? Let’s hear it for your neighbor, your friend, your co-worker or your relative. The person who has made a difference in your community and your life.

100 Hometown Heroes will be selected and recognized in your community. Award winners will be notified by May 17, 2010. All 100 Hometown Heroes will be announced on June 16, 2010. 100 Hometown Heroes Call for Nominations – By Allen & Allen

Allen & Allen 100 Hometown Heroes Eligibility & Entry Guidelines
  • Heroes must reside in Virginia
  • Heroes will be judged on their impact to their community
  • Heroes may be nominated more than once but winners will not be selected on number of nominations, but impact on others and their community
  • Entries can be submitted through the Allen & Allen website at https://www.allenandallen.com/hometown-heroes.com.html or stop by any Allen & Allen office to pick up a nomination form
  • Entries must be printed or written legibly or typed and contain 100 words or less
  • Word count includes “a,” “an,” and “the”
  • Any failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in disqualification
  • No purchase is necessary
Rights Associated with Contest
Submission of the Entry Form constitutes permission for Allen & Allen to use the participants’ name, likeness, biographical information, information and materials contained in the Entry Form, photographs, and any statements or remarks made about the Contest in advertising and promotion without further compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law. All entries, and any copyrights therein, become the sole property of Allen & Allen. By entering, entrants agree to abide by the above stated rules, and warrant that their entry is their original work and does not infringe upon or violate rights of any third party, and grant to Allen & Allen the right to edit, publish, promote, and otherwise use their entry materials without permission, notice or compensation. No royalties will be paid at this or any time.
By submitting an entry, each participant (and parent or guardian) assigns all right, title, and interest in and to the nomination to Allen & Allen and warrants that the participant (and parent or guardian) have the authority to assign such right, title, and interest. In the event that any applicable law requires certain formalities to be fulfilled to effectuate such grant of rights, each participant (and parent or guardian) agrees to cooperate with Allen & Allen to achieve fulfillment of such formalities.
By submitting a Nomination Form, each participant (and parent or guardian) agrees to be bound by these Contest Rules. Each participant (and parent or guardian) agrees to release and hold Allen & Allen, and their employees, officers, directors, shareholders, agents, representatives, subsidiaries, parent companies, or other affiliated companies harmless from any and all damages, losses, claims and liabilities arising out of participation in the Contest or resulting from acceptance or claiming of any prize hereunder. Allen & Allen reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to terminate, suspend or otherwise cancel the Contest at any time. Allen & Allen is not responsible for any expenses incurred in connection with participation in the Contest.
