A native of Hanover County, Priscilla attended Patrick Henry High School and graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelors of Science degree in Criminal Justice. She received her J.D. degree from The University of Virginia Law School in 1989.

For over sixteen years, Priscilla has practiced law in Richmond working both as a plaintiffs’ personal injury attorney and as defense counsel for a major insurance company. With this diverse background, Priscilla has a broad perspective and understanding of personal injury litigation and insurance law - a valuable combination for Allen and Allen clients. She has litigated jury trials, arbitrations and mediated cases around the Commonwealth of Virginia including Northern Virginia and the Tidewater area. She has extensive experience handling cases involving car accidents, tractor trailer accidents, premises liability and professional liability.

Priscilla knows the importance of carefully reviewing and investigating insurance coverage available to her clients. As claims legal counsel for an insurance company, she was responsible for providing legal counsel and advice on coverage issues and litigation. This experience and knowledge helps ensure that her clients obtain all the insurance coverage available.

Clients are sometimes nervous when they testify at deposition or trial. Priscilla skillfully prepares her clients for questions they are likely to face. Solid preparation for deposition testimony is crucial to the successful outcome of every case. Her meticulous, reassuring preparation bolsters her clients’ self confidence and enables them to project a favorable impression on defense attorneys and jurors.

Taking many personal injury cases to verdict, Priscilla is experienced in the courtroom. As a result, she recognizes and can counter the evasive settlement tactics and cunning trial strategy insurance company adjusters, managers, and attorneys employ to reduce claim payments. “I am better prepared to help my clients because I know how the insurance companies operate,” says Priscilla.
